another great apron

I have another great apron to show you. This is made of Michael Miller cotton. The design looks like rickrack. It is sized for the average woman. I think it is a really fun print, and will brighten up anyone's day. If you like this but it is not your size, it can be ordered in plus size. Don't wait too long, I don't have much of this great print left.

Have a great rest of the day. Lauren

More potholders

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are having a nice Sunday. It is hot and humid here, but at least it's not snowing!
I have some photos of potholders for you. I make them with insul-bright insulation inside, so you won't burn yourself like you can with only quilt batting. I hope you see some you like, if not stay tuned. There is always tommorrow.

potholders

Good morning all! I just came back from breakfast and am ready to start sewwing.

I will be listing some potholders, I have one pair up now. I think you'll like them . They have insul-bright inside, so you won't burn your hands like you can with the ones with just batting. I hope some of you will try them. Look for more prints soon.

I hope everyone enjoys their Saturday. I will be going to a wedding later. Talk to you soon.

Thanks,Dottie (more fabric, too)

I just read dottieral's blog and she did an article on me this morning! I am new, and that was so wonderful of here. Please check her out. The link is listed on the right.

I have a great Alexander Henry fabric and 2 feedsack for p&b fabrics. I also have a polished cotton floral. They'd all make great aprons.
So anyway, I am going to meet a high school friend for our Christmas lunch. Pretty sad, huh? That's how hard it has been to get our schedules to line up. Her father has been ill, which made it harder. I am really looking forward to it. We meet about halfway between where we both live in Cooperstown (yup, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame). So , I have an hours drive, so I better get moving. I hope everyones day is as pleasant as mine is sure to be. Lauren

fabric samples

Here are a few of the fabrics I have . I will put more on later in the week. If you see something in my shops that you would like made in any of these fabrics, let me know.

Day 2

Good morning. It is my second day with my brand new blog. I thought that I would tell you a little bit about my etsy shop. I am a dressmaker and I do alot of sewwing out of my home. I have just recently opened 2 online shops, etsy and dawanda. The links are on the blog. You should check out not only me, but all the great shops on these sites. Etsy is in the us, but has wouldwide members. You can buy alot of green items, some organic and even fabric from Japan. Dawanda is in Germany, and is also worldwide. It is worth checking out, as they have a different variety. The only catch is that you are charged in euros. Paypal makes the conversion and charges you in $, but keep in mind that a euro costs us around $1.55. It changes everyday.

I am planning to put some fabric samples up in the near future, as soon as I get the photos taken. Than way if you see something you love, and hate the fabric, I'll make you one to you liking. I am offering an array of items, but I have just designed a line of women's plus sized aprons. Let's face it, that is an item that is not readily available. Most really good cooks like to eat, and those cute little aprons are just too small for the average person.

Well, I have to get ready for the gym (because I love chocolate) , so I will go now. Have a wonderful day.
