Almost 2009!

Christmas has come and gone, and newyears eve will be here soon. I can't believe that 2008 went by so quickly. I guess time really does fly as you get older.
I had a good year, and am thrilled to have found etsy this year. I have enjoyed opening a shop there, and joining the quiltsy street team. I made some new friends and made a little bit of money, and got alot of enjoyment out of it.

I hope to get some new items in 2009 and get rid of the ones that don't seem to appeal to people.

I have some new fun potholders, and I am working on some new aprons and quilts.

I hope everyone has a healthy and prosperous new year.

Merry Christmas Everyone

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanakah, and Happy New Year.

As the holidays begin and the year comes to an end, it is a good time to think of the the blessings we have in our lives, and to tell all the people we are close to how much we value them. Even those of us who aren't rich by the conventional definition can be very blessed with good friends, loving families, and good health. Money doesn't make the world go round, but love does.

I hope all of you get the opportunity to be with the ones you love this season, and to remember the reason for the season.

Just Reduced, 2 Quilts!

I have decided to put 2 of my quilts with the most views on sale for Christmas. This is your opportunity to pick them up at a great price!

The top one is my strawberrykiwi flannel quilt. It will make a perfect crib quilt, toddler quilt or throw. I have reduced it from $78 to $65.

The second is my autumn rag quilt, which is 3 layers of flannel, warm and toasty. It is the perfect size for a baby quilt or would make a great throw to keep your legs warm in front of the fire or in a wheelchair! I have reduced it from $60 to $50.

Come to www.originalsbylauren.etsy.com and check these bargains out, along with a vast array of items to choose from.

Happy Holidays,

Happy Holidays!

I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the corner. We have a few less shopping days this year, as Thanksgiving was late. We are all so busy that it can be difficult to find time to go to the stores. That is why I am offering this deal for you.

Go to http://www.originalsbylauren.etsy.com/ and mention that you read this blog ariticle in the comments section when you make a purchase and I will discount your shipping. Anything with shipping up to $5 gets free shipping, and the rest get $5 off on shipping charges. This allows you to purchase most items in my shop without paying for shipping if you are in the US, and for nominal shipping otherwise. This also applies to multiple items, no shipping or $5 off each item
This sale is going on until Christmas, so don't delay, there is not much time left. Sit in the comfort of your own home and do your shopping with me. I ship the following day for all purchases.

I have alot of great gift items, and my prices are reasonable. Thanks for taking a look.
